Blog readers, please note that I am making these posts as I pray this Novena of Surrender for the first time. I've decided not to look ahead and am only posting each meditation/reflection as I come to it. So consider that each message may have historical and cultural contexts as well as background information about the spirituality of its author, Servant of God Don Dolindo Ruotolo, of which I am unaware. About those sorts of things, I'm choosing not to delve into them for this first time through. Instead I am, let's say, "surrendering to the 'Surrender Novena'" and to what the Lord may chose to accomplish through my praying of it.
The Surrender Novena Day 7
Hear our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ say to you,
"I perform miracles in proportion to your full surrender to me and to your not thinking of yourselves. I sow treasure troves of graces when you are in the deepest poverty. No person of reason, no thinker, has ever performed miracles, not even among the saints. He does divine works whosoever surrenders to God. So don’t think about it anymore, because your mind is acute and for you it is very hard to see evil and to trust in me and to not think of yourself. Do this for all your needs, do this, all of you, and you will see great continual silent miracles. I will take care of things, I promise this to you."
Then pray the following:
O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! (10 times, perhaps with Rosary beads)
