Dear Readers, May our God bear fruit, fruit that will last (see John 15:15), from this first time through the Surrender Novena for me and anyone's who's joined me in my "real-time" posting of these nine days which started Wednesday a week ago. Of course, I hope this series of posts may bless anyone who comes upon them later, as well.
A blessing for me has been that, distinct from prayerfully considering the message of each day, I've experienced peace and delight and a bit of amusement from simply saying the last half of the prayer, that is, "Jesus... take care of everything," throughout each day. As I type this, I'm about to see this final day's message for the first time and will take it to prayer a bit later today. When I do, and I pray, "Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything," know that if you're reading this, I will have included you in the "everything!"

The Surrender Novena
Day 9
Hear Christ Jesus saying to you,
"Pray always in readiness to surrender, and you will receive from it great peace and great rewards, even when I confer on you the grace of immolation, of repentance, and of love. Then what does suffering matter? It seems impossible to you? Close your eyes and say with all your soul, 'Jesus, you take care of it.' Do not be afraid, I will take care of things and you will bless my name by humbling yourself. A thousand prayers cannot equal one single act of surrender, remember this well. There is no novena more effective than this."
Then pray the following: O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! (10 times)
